3 OR 6 TREATMENT PACKAGE

$360/session

  • What is included?

You will receive an initial psychiatric evaluation to determine candidacy for ketamine therapy. You will then be assigned to a therapist who will prepare you for treatment, guide you through the experience and help you integrate the experience. Each 3-hour session includes preparation, the journey itself, and recovery with the presence of your therapist nearby throughout the session. The session takes place within a setting designed to facilitate a sense of safety, comfort, and warmth. During an initial ketamine session, the medicine is administered in oral lozenge form. This route provides a gentle introduction to the medicine and allows us to titrate the dose if needed. Subsequent sessions may utilize lozenges or intramuscular injections based on the effect and outcome of the initial session.

  • Why?

We intentionally prepare the environment to foster a sense of safety, trust, and relaxation. We then prepare clients psychologically and emotionally to navigate the trip before inducing this altered state. We remain present with our clients throughout the experience so that they always have an experienced, knowledgeable person to assist them in navigating any challenging parts of a journey.

  • What to expect?

Preparation for treatment includes consent for treatment. The consent process helps set realistic expectations for treatment outcomes and prepares you for the psychological and physical effects of treatment.  During the session, the therapist will play an adaptive ketamine playlist to help guide your journey. The lighting will be soft and dim and there will be minimal outside noise. You will be provided with a pillow soft eye mask for comfort and minimize potential side effects (particularly light sensitivity). The therapist sits nearby for safety and provides reassurance as needed.  During the peak of the ketamine experience you may enter a realm of consciousness that has been described as “cosmic,” “connected”, “ego dissolved,” and “boundless.”  Research shows that ketamine triggers glutamate production, which prompts the brain to form new neural connections. This makes the brain more adaptable and able to create new pathways, and provides an opportunity to develop more positive thoughts and behaviors.

PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION

$150

  • What is it?

A psychiatric evaluation is an in-depth clinical interview used to help with diagnosis and guide a treatment plan. It involves reviewing medical history, family history, and the history of symptoms such as anxiety and depression. A thorough evaluation is important to develop an appropriate and safe treatment plan specifically designed for you.

  • What to expect?

You will have the opportunity to fill out a significant portion of your history and symptoms in the comfort of your own home through online questionnaires available through a secure app linked to our electronic medical record. You will then meet in person with Shannon Zaryoun, a Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a 60 minute session to review your history, symptoms and treatment goals.

MED MANAGEMENT

$75

  • What is it?

Medication management involves initiation, continuation, or adjustment in medications used to manage mental health if recommended and deemed appropriate in the treatment plan. Medication management is not a cure for mental illness but can help reduce and control symptoms.

  • What to expect?

You are an active participant in your treatment plan. Medication options may be presented to you along with the risks and benefits associated with the medication in order to help you make informed decisions about your treatment.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

$100+

  • What is it?

Individual therapy is a process that involves individual 60 minute sessions with a licensed and experienced therapist where you can safely discuss issues that are hard to face alone.

  • What to expect?

The profound visionary expanded state of consciousness produced by ketamine is highly effective for therapeutic reprocessing and growth. Ketamine has the ability to temporarily free one from their past, improve mood, reduce anxiety, and create a new and immediate experience of the self and connection. Integrating the experience in follow-up therapy sessions can help individuals to explore how to recreate the freedom of negative emotions and anchor those changes.

Insurance plans are not accepted at this time.
